- The façade is quite unusual for an Italian building
There are only 12 “770 Houses” in the world and one of these is in Milan.
A “770 House” is the replica of a gothic style Brooklyn house bought in the 40s by a rabbi of the Lubavitcher movement, one of the biggest jewish communities in the world. These houses were named after the address of the very first building (770 Eastern Parkway, Crown Heights) which was reproduced all over the world due to its growing sacred popularity.
The name Lubavitcher comes from Libavitch, a town in Belarus where the movement was born.
