- the covered square
In the area once hosting the Italian Ansaldo transportation company, today you can find the brand new MUDEC (Museo delle Culture), a museum dedicated to foreign cultures, designed by the English architect David Chipperfield.
The architecture is unique. Just enter the museum and go up the stairs in front of you to reach a beautiful and bright covered square whose free and organic geometry surrounds you in a spectacular game of lines and light. Considering the great difference in terms of light existing between the entrance to the museum and this square, climbing these stairs is just like ascending to Paradise.
