More info

Do you like theatre? Are you curious about the worldwide famous Teatro alla Scala?  You only have two chances to access it: either at the beginning of the lyric season together with the Italian star stystem, when getting a ticket is usually difficult and extremely expensive, or during the year visiting the theatre museum (Museo Teatrale) buying a ticket that everyone can afford.

In fact, after having gone through music instruments, set designs, set clothes and mementos, you’ll reach the 3rd floor where you’ll find a balcony looking onto the Theatre’s main  hall.

We’re pretty sure your eyes will twinkle!

Please note: access to a stage to see the theatre is only allowed if neither rehearsals nor performances are in progress.

Museum is open daily from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm (last entrance at Midday) and from 1:30 to 5:30 pm (last entrance at 5 pm).

Closed on Dec 7th, Dec 24th (afternoon), Dec 25th, Dec 26th, Dec 31st (afternoon), Jan 1st, Easter, May 1st, Aug 15th.
