Since September 2014, the area around Cardinal Ferrari square has been changing completely thanks to the Wallart project, born to celebrate the 140 years anniversary of Orthopedic Institute Gaetano Pini.
Streetart was the key to transform this area. Three important Milan artists were in fact involved in the project to give new to the district through colour.
The duo Oricanoodles realized the longest murales of the project (about 600 metres long and 150 metres high) rurrounding the Convent between Andrea Ferrari square, San Calimero street and Mercalli street portraying 12 of the greatest Milan citizens, combining such portrays with quotes and aphorisms.
Ivan converted the wall wrapping the Diocesan Archive into a miniate antique code with red and black calligraphic ornaments.
Pao instead created “Between Science and Art”, a murales in Pini street, featuring colorful abstract forms.
All the graffitis are a perfect background for your portrays, your #strideby pics or a lot of #jumpstagram!
